THE LONG FALL HOME - FEATURE
Amélie meets Hidden Figures in an awkward, hopeful, funny, feel good coming-of-age film, set in an underfunded Welsh Rocket facility in the 1970s. Amelia, a brilliant yet ignored young scientist is tasked with finding inventive (cheap) and British (cheerful) solutions to the theoretical problems of space travel. It’s here that a local Welsh lad, Dai, suggests a problem that requires the hot-wiring of a 1000-tonne Space Rocket to answer.
